Gamal J. Palmer is a diversity, equity and inclusion expert. As the founder of Diversity Gym, he helps brands create unstoppable cultures through communication. Bringing humanity to the data, he facilitates workshops and presents keynotes on leadership, diversity and inclusion, and personal transformation. 

The son of activists, Gamal’s advocacy began in 8th grade when working with Full Circle Theater Company in Philadelphia. Using civil discourse techniques and theater technology, at an early age Gamal worked with inmates on conflict resolution and confidence building. Early on, he became enthralled with the power of storytelling, particularly within the context of exploring identity and its overlapping elements. As a graduate student at the Yale School of Drama, he developed graduate-level programs focused on dialogue, advocacy and community engagement around socio-political challenges in Swaziland, South Africa and Tanzania. 

Gamal has designed and led programs throughout the United States, and in over 10 African countries, and the Middle East.

Gamal has designed and led programs throughout the United States, and in over 10 African countries, and the Middle East. He is also the Founder and CEO of Global Eye Entrepreneurs, a multicultural network to mentor and develop male entrepreneurs of color.

Palmer completed a post-graduate associate position at the Yale Schools of Management and Drama in 2009 and also a Master of Fine Arts at Yale in 2008. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts, a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and a minor in Educational Leadership from the University of Miami.

Through Diversity Gym, Gamal has worked with more than 200 incredible clients in order to create a culture of unstoppable communication.
